What is Telehealth?

Telehealth services allow you to visit with a pediatric provider over a video or phone call from the convenience of your home or wherever you have internet or cellular service. Each telehealth session uses HIPAA-compliant technology to ensure your child’s sensitive information is kept secure. 

Simply arrange an appointment using our online appointment scheduler, and you will receive an invitation to join your telehealth visit with one of our pediatric providers.

What are the Benefits of Telehealth Services?

Telehealth visits are a great option for common illnesses like colds or the flu, and follow-up visits with our doctors. A telehealth virtual appointment can also help parents identify whether an in-person visit is necessary. There are a variety of other benefits as well, including:

• No need to transport your child – or to arrange for child care (if there are other children in the household)

• Affordable, accessible appointments

• Full consultation, evaluation and prescriptions, if needed

When an In-Person Urgent Care Visit Might Be Better

Not everything can be handled via telehealth. We recommend our patients visit us in person for:

• Physicals

• Sore throat

• Ear infection

• Rashes

• Vomiting

• Dehydration

• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

• Possible fractures or other injuries
